Color

I am nurse at a rehab center and one of my patients get very agitated around the color red. She starts to scream, hit and bite people. It gets so bad that she has to have a dose of haldol. The only thing that calms her down is to remove her from the environment because the injections takes about 30 min. to be effective. We have to turn the lights off in her room and actually sit with her. We actually thought that she needed to be transferred out for a evaluation, however when it was done they found nothing mentally wrong. It was the color RED that always set her off. So we figured out that RED was not her color.......
